Donations General Terms

Donations to SSI of $2 or more should be tax deductible. This will be identified in the tax receipt provided after completion of a donation.

Disputes and Refunds

SSI treats all complaints, grievances and disputes seriously, quickly and in a timely manner, having due regard to procedural fairness and confidentiality. All parties are required to participate in the dispute resolution process in good faith. If a user of the SSI donations facility believes there has been an error with their donation, they should notify the SSI Finance Team directly on 02 8799 6700 and confirm that notice in writing or by email to Finance@ssi.org.au as soon possible. Any issues should be directed to Settlement Services International in the first instance so the organisation can attempt to resolve the matter. If a complainant is not satisfied with the outcome they can refer it to their financial institution, which will obtain details of the disputed transaction and may lodge a claim on your behalf.

Monthly Donations

Your obligations
It is the responsibility of the website and donations facility user to ensure there are sufficient clear funds available in their account. The donor should check their account statement to verify that the amounts debited from their account are correct.

Changes and Cancellations
SSI will endeavour to contact all donors before making any variation to an agreement with a donor.

If a donor wishes to cancel, defer or alter a debit payment they must notify SSI by calling the Finance Team on 02 8799 6700 at least 14 days before the next donation day.
Please provide details of your donation agreement, such as name, address, and Customer Reference Number, etc. for ease of processing.
